My family watches Extreme Home Makeover every Sunday. It is a great show for the whole family because it shows generosity and community coming together to help each other out. It is wonderful to see when ordinary people do wonderful things for the community around them. A few weeks ago they had a story about a family here in Texas that lost their home to a flood. One of the most touching parts about that story was that the mom, Amber, takes pictures of premature babies and their families in the ICU and she does it for free. Some of these babies do not make it and these parents have a wonderful way to remember them by. I think it's a great idea to spotlight people in our community who do great things for others out of the goodness of their hearts. I have included a picture from her website and also the link below:
